Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
Design and Drafting: Utilize CATIA V6 to prepare engineering drawings for avionics and electrical equipment installations, ensuring precision in wire harness designsWiring and Assembly Support: Assist in the preparation of wiring diagrams and harness assemblies using the software, Mentor Graphics, contributing to efficient production processesTesting and Compliance: Collaborate in writing test plans, conformity requests, and compliance reports, ensuring all avionics systems meet regulatory standardsTechnical Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and flight test, to provide technical expertise and support diverse projectsAdvanced Analysis: Conduct advanced electrical and avionics design analysis, applying mechanical engineering principles to enhance system integrationCertification Documentation: Prepare comprehensive certification documentation, including test plans and reports, to demonstrate compliance with 14 CFR Part 23/25 standardsWhat you need to be successful:
Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree required in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or other related Engineering field Minimum 2 years’ experience of relative mechanical, avionics, or electrical engineering experience is requiredTechnical Skills:Proficiency in CATIA for design is helpfulExperience with Mentor Graphis for wiring diagrams is helpfulBackground in electrical wiring and harnessing is helpfulSystems KnowledgeFamiliarity with PLM system is helpfulENOVIA experience is helpfulDesign Knowledge:Understanding of electrical bonding, thermal cooling, EMI shielding, and installation criteria for High Intensity Radiated Fields (HIRF) and Indirect Effects of Lightning (IEL) is helpfulWhy join us?
