Kimley-Horn's is seeking a Mechanical Engineer-In-Training with 2+ years of experience to join the Dallas, Texas (TX) office!
Responsibilities Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.Perform general mechanical engineering tasks supporting various project managers as required.Support our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing team specifically working on large scale HVAC design.Project type will vary but may include Airports, Facilities, Universities, and more. Qualifications 2+ years experience in a similar mechnical engineering roleAn ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Mechanical EngineeringEIT/EI certification or have the ability to obtain certification Excellent verbal and written communicationAbility to apply technical skills to meet project demands and solve problems for our clientsPositive attitude and an impressive work ethicClear sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlinesAttention to details and ability to contribute to a positive work environmentPassion and demonstrated drive to achieve goalsExposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, and/or SolidWorks Why Kimley-Horn?At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
