Mechanical Engineering InternKBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.
KBR is keen to hear from recent graduates or current students who can help achieve our long-term ambitions. We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern who will be responsible for working with senior engineers to assist with the specification and application.
Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Working with senior engineers to assist with
Preparations of specifications, datasheets, technical requisitions and technical bid evaluations.
Performing Design Calculations
The application of pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and rotating equipment including compressors, turbines, and pumps.
Propose ideas, collaborate with the team, improve, and document/update the work process.
Willing to travel to job sites.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, seeking a baccalaureate, master's, or doctoral degree.
Ability to receive technical guidance from senior engineers
Software Experience with Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, TEAMs, SharePoint), Documentum, Autocad, and Adobe is a plus
Good academic standing as established by your college or university
Have a Mechanical Engineering declared degree/major
