You will be introduced to engineering processes and strategies in addition to professional development opportunities.

Our forward-looking technology department is dedicated to providing you with valuable learning opportunities as you share ideas, creativity and curiosity to maximize your experience. The experience will include:

Participation in active projects, deliverables and support to our manufacturing locations.Review of how an internal engineering group supports the organization vs external deliverables.Use of Solidworks CAD and 3D printing system.An understanding of partnering departments: Product engineering, IT, IE/LEProfessional development through peer counseling, mentorship and corporate leadership interactions.

Program Overview:

10 week paid assignment. (pay will be $20/hr.)On Day 1, including a tour of the site, overview of the company and welcome message from senior leaders.Professional development from dedicated program manager and peer mentors.Small, selective program that allows for more focused attention and support.Interaction with leaders across multiple business units and departments.Resume review and LinkedIn clinic.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors in progress in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.Some technology-centric coursework completed

Preferred Qualifications:

Sound analytical and critical thinking skills with a strategic mindsetBasic understanding of software development methodologyMicrosoft Office skills, including MS Word and ExcelStrong oral and written communication skillsCurious, self-motivated spiritSelf-motivated individual who is focused and results oriented
