Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has an opportunity available for a limited-term, full-time Mechanical Engineering Intern to join us starting May/June 2025 and ending in August/September 2025 located in our West Allis, WI office. This internship has the potential to continue part time through the school year. Responsibilities may include: Design tasks (research, alternatives evaluation, sizing, layout, equipment specifications) Assist with developing drawings and calculations Communicate with outside vendors and solicitation of equipment quotes Data gathering assignments in support of various engineering projects Various other projects as assigned A valid driver’s license will be required. The successful candidate must have obtained a Junior or Senior standing in their program and be working towards a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering. The ideal candidate will possess any/all the following: Mechanical design coursework in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and heat transfer.
