Honeywell’s\nACST team is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager for our Plymouth,\nMN location. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team\nof mechanical engineers on productization efforts. The successful candidate\nwill have a strong background in mechanical engineering and product development,\nspecializing in the development and application of good engineering practices,\nGD&T, and management of transitioning concepts from R&D to\nmanufacturing. This leadership role will involve managing a team of engineers\nand researchers, partnering with R&D teams and Manufacturing teams to ensure\nthat practices are aligned with the latest advancements in mechanical systems\nengineering.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES-
Manages a high performing team of Mechanical Engineers and CAD Specialists Oversees technical work, ensures team execution of customer-driven milestones and deliverablesChampions engineering projects from proposal to build stageSets employees goals, manages achievement, mentors, conducts performance assessmentsProvides direction into new products, process, standards, or op plans in alignment with business strategiesManages and distributes team workload to ensure proper resource alignmentEnsures short- and long-term resource availability Partners with other engineering managers on strategic direction of the greater teamPerforms as a bridge between R&D and ManufacturingThe annual base salary or/ hourly\npay range for this position is $138,000-172,000. Please note that this\nsalary information serves as a general guideline.
