The Engineering Development Technician is responsible for the performance of routine functions that require the application of standard techniques and procedures to solve technical problems.
What You Will Be Doing
Innovative Assembly: Put your skills to the test by assembling cutting-edge mechanical components for the dynamic aerospace industryHands-On Testing: Engage in exciting testing of newly designed, production, and modified products in both an environmental testing lab and production environmentNew Product Introduction (NPI): Play a key role in transitioning NPI products to production including developing assembly and test processesTeam Collaboration: Be a vital part of our core engineering team, contributing to product design evolution and test planningAdvanced Testing Equipment: Assemble sophisticated test carts and fixtures featuring pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems for thorough product qualification testingData Analysis: Record and review test results both numerical and graphical ensuring compliance with test objectives and specificationsWhat We Are Looking For
Level 1
2 plus years’ experience with assembly and/or test functions in a similar manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilitiesUS- High School Diploma or equivalent certificate requiredAerospace industry experience preferred (A&P License highly desired)Level 2
Internal applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Operations Technician, or 1 year as an R&O Technician.Experience setting up and testing new, modified, and production product designs.Experience using basic machine tools to fabricate needed assembly and test tooling and fixturesWhy Join Us?
