Job DescriptionThis co-op position will assist engineers in mechanical design using Solidworks, Solidworks Simulation, Autocad and Agile. Additionally, this position involves conducting research for new ESD material, new manufacturing technology, and programming Solidworks using Driveworks Express and Driveworks Solo. We are looking for Junior or Senior level student majoring in Mechanical Engineering. The student must be enrolled in a university and be making forward progress towards a degree. The position requires a minimum of 20 hours per week and hours can be flexible depending on school schedule.
Job Requirements Candidate must be currently enrolled in a B.S. or M.S. Mechanical Engineering (or related) academic program, with preference for students at a Junior or Senior level. Should have experience with Solidworks CAD software (student version is ok). Familiar with using statistical software to analyze data, trouble shoot, and resolve issues (e.g., SPC, Encore, JMP, SQC, Data Power) Candidate can commit to being fully on-site over duration of co-op.#LI-KJ1
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
