Positions are available for electrical engineers with 4 to 8 years of experience in fueling systems.

Burns McDonnell is considered the leading consultant in the aircraft fueling industry. We are engaged in high visibility projects, both large and small, at major airports and military bases worldwide. Additionally, the fueling business line executes projects for aviation, federal, transport truck and car rental clients, including marine loading facilities, pipeline terminals, truck loading facilities and commercial gasoline stations.

A successful candidate would be experienced in design and construction in one or more of the following industries: Commercial or Military Fuel Systems, Oil Gas, Water/Wastewater, or Industrial Systems.

Experience in the following areas of project design would be of high value:

Bulk and operating fuel storage facilitiesTruck, refueler, aviation and marine loading and offloadingNFPA and API hazardous area classificationPID development and reviewDefinition of Sequence of Operations for PLC programmingGeneral facility support – power distribution, voice/data, fiber optics, generators, security, CCTV, fire, alarm, lighting, wiring, raceway, grounding, etc.
