Mechanical HVAC Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Mechanical HVAC Engineer with extensive experience in designing and managing critical infrastructure projects, including data centers and emergency management facilities.

Job Requirements:

15+ years of Mechanical HVAC Engineering experience

Licensed P.E, Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering

Expertise in local and State codes including International and NYC Mechanical, Building, Energy Conservation, and Fire Protection codes

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency in MEP AutoCAD and Revit

Mission Critical experience

Commissioning (Cx) experience

LEED Certification and Green Building initiatives

Plumbing and Fire Protection experience

Job Responsibilities:

Act as the lead engineer on projects with minimal supervision

Manage multiple projects effectively

Conduct engineering calculations, load calculations, equipment selection, energy analysis, psychrometric studies, controls, fixture loading, pressure loss analysis, ducts sizing, writing specifications

Perform studies to evaluate existing mechanical systems for improvements or upgrades

Review and approve field design change requests

Interface with project managers and field staff throughout project design and construction

Pay: 40-60

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
