Eaton’s IS AER FED is currently seeking a Mechanical Inspector. This position is based out of our Glenolden, PA facility. Core hours for this position are 7am-3:30pm. The starting hourly rate for this position is $24.00 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. **What you’ll do:** Performs verification inspection of Eaton’s suppliers detailed components and verification inspection of Eaton’s product for compliance to customer’s requirements while assistiing customer source inspectors as required. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measurement equipment + Thorough knowledge of measurement systems, techniques including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) + Familiarity with the requirements of ISO9001 and AS9100 + Ability to interact with co-workers and customer representative + Perform verification inspection of Eaton’s supplier’s detailed components + Performs verification inspection of Eaton’s product for compliance to customer’s requirements + Assist customer source inspectors as required + Coordinate Measurement Machine use, programming ability is preferred, but not required + Surface plate lay-out + Basic computer skills **Qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications:** • High School diploma/GED from accredited institution • Minimum of two (2) years experience in manufacturing and/or military environment • Minimum of two (2) years experience reading and interpreting blueprints • Ability to use precision measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, comparator, thread gauge, etc. • Reside within 50 miles of location (no relocation) • US person within the meaning of ITAR.
