Job Title: Senior Mechanical and Plumbing Inspector.
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical and Plumbing Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, building occupants, and contractors to ensure that all mechanical and plumbing systems meet code and specification requirements. You will conduct daily site inspections, prepare comprehensive reports, review change order issues, and perform special material testing inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough daily site inspections to ensure compliance with relevant codes and specifications.Collaborate effectively with clients, building occupants, and contractors to address and resolve any issues.Prepare detailed and comprehensive reports of inspections and site visits.Review and address change order issues promptly and accurately.Perform special material testing inspections as required.Essential Skills:
Expertise in mechanical inspection and quality control.In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and their design.Strong understanding of construction and building maintenance practices.Proficiency in inspecting mechanical and plumbing systems.Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC and plumbing codes.Familiarity with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.Strong project management skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in inspecting mechanical or plumbing systems.Certified Mechanical Inspector credential.Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).Work Environment:
This role is based on-site at St. Elizabeth's in Washington, D.C., and requires working five days a week.The work environment is dynamic and offers numerous opportunities for professional growth.The company provides flexible PTO.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $95000.00
