Job Title: Mechanical Installer II

Job Description

The Mechanical Installer II role is a technical position focusing on mechanical installation. The ideal candidate will have experience working with hand and power tools and previous installation experience, such as machinery or robotics. The primary responsibilities include the installation of 20 robotic arms, approximately 40 sub-stations, and internal site fencing, primarily on the mezzanine and sub-mezzanine levels.

ResponsibilitiesAssist project teams by commissioning, cleaning the warehouse, and building robotic arms and stations.Use pallet jacks to move, strap, and catalogue materials.Use hand and air-powered tools to commission towers according to diagrams.Follow step-by-step instructions.Run wiring for power supply.Perform general installation labor, moderate to heavy.Handle materials, perform heavy lifting, and engage in general labor tasks such as construction, loading, packaging, and cleaning.Essential SkillsAbility to lift 40-50 lbs consistently.Experience working with hand and power tools.Mechanical inclination.Ability to work 8 hours a day on a hard cement floor.Good attendance and ability to take direction.Willingness to work multiple positions, from inventory to housekeeping.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in material handling, robotics, and general labor.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work is performed in Amazon Distribution Centers that are currently under construction. The environment can be messy, loud, and sometimes crowded. A high level of visibility with the client requires employees to be presentable and professional. The dress code includes PPE such as a high visibility vest, safety glasses, a hard hat, A6 gloves, and steel-toe shoes/boots. Jeans and t-shirts are acceptable, but avoid loose or baggy clothing.

This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00
