Mechanical Integrity Lead

Job Description:

IVL - Indorama Ventures Oxides, LLC is currently looking to hire a Mechanical Integrity Lead to work at our Pasadena and Clear Lake, TX sites.  In this role, you will lead the site’s mechanical integrity program for fixed equipment, piping, and structures in the facilities by working with site inspectors and engineers to evaluate asset inspection results in accordance with industry and corporate standards. To be the technical resource for all aspects related to fixed equipment mechanical integrity and reliability.

What will be expected from you?

Ensure that the activities are carried out to comply with the integrated management system, as applicable (safety, food safety, GMP, health, environmental, quality, and responsible care requirements).Perform essential functions will require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed. If applicable, the ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives.Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives.Assist other employees in accomplishments of Indorama company goals, and to follow instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.Participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.  To participate in and complete company required training programs.Be on top of any deferrals and put MOC’s in place.Drive the Reliability Centered Maintenance Program.Support the planning team with demands, material request list.Create templates and forms to be used by field technicians.Perform/support risk analysis assessments.Propose MOC’s driven to reliability.Create a spare parts list for equipment.Select the most critical spare parts to keep in stock.Cross reference interchangeable parts between existing equipment.Identify failure modes for various equipment.Perform FMEA report for equipment.Track bad actors.Monitor the most relevant bad actors.Perform MTTR and MTBF calculations.Form and participate in interdepartmental problem-solving teams.Create equipment PM programs.Specify equipment for applications per API codes.Identify API Code requirements applicable to equipment.Oversee third party contractor QA/QC inspections and documentation.Provide technical support to maintenance for federal and state regulatory audits.Incorporate new assets into the MI program.Assist in the maintenance of the MI inspection databases.

What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?

High School Education15+ years combined experience in inspections and mechanical integrity. REQUIREDHave a level of proficiency with internet, Email and Microsoft Office programs. REQUIREDHave experience reading and understanding P&ID and ISO drawings. REQUIREDAPI codes knowledge of API 510 & 570. REQUIREDCertifications of API 510 & 570. DESIRABLEA level of proficiency with IBM MAXIMO and SAP. DESIRABLEMethodologies of RFCA, Apollo. DESIRABLE
