Dow Thailand Group has vacancy Mechanical Integrity Repair Engineer, located at Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate, Rayong. Your responsibilities are:

Responsibilities:

Provides technical expertise either equipment-design based, or repair technique based which impacts the availability, reliability, integrity and maintainability of the facility.Ensuring mechanical integrity assets are installed, repaired, inspected, tested and maintained in accordance with standards and in compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.Leading technical repair method for static mechanical equipment including but not limited to providing the method, reviewing/clarifying/communicating method with maintenance planner, coordinating with SME & Senior Engineer for approval as required and executing work in the field according to approved repair method and complied with repair codes and standards. The method is not only complied with available internal standard, international standard/good engineering practices but also the practical means to do the activities in the field safely including the any activities (if any) related to moving the defected equipment to repair.Performing fit for service assessments and stress analysis.Ensuring all maintenance activities are fully comply to the (Dow) Pressure Equipment and Pressure Relief Devices Integrity Management Plans, Leak Management Plan and Corrosion Management PlanParticipating in process hazard assessmentsExecuting mechanical engineering activities safely.Providing Technical Liaison and co-ordination with the equipment vendors and support contractorsLearns from and assists subject matter experts in equipment failures and repair techniques during root cause investigationsProvides technical expertise to plant personnel on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating whether equipment is designed to meet its intended or existing service conditions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor/ College Degree in Methodologist/Mechanical/Welding Engineering or equivalent.Min. 5 years experienced on repairing piping, storage tank, PCE and life-for-life static equipment replacement in Chemical or Petrochemical/ Refinery industry.Experienced construction work and well-communicate on field execution with technician and contractor.CSWIP/CWI certification holding is advantageGood knowledge on construction/inspection code such ASME VIII, Div 1,2, ASME B31.3, API 650, 620, 653, 510, 570, NBIC 23 etc.Fully conversant with Critical Lifting of Static Equipment in Refineries, Oil & Gas and Petrochemical plants.Hydro-Blasting, Chemical Cleaning of Static Equipment in Refineries, Oil & Gas and Petrochemical plants. (Optional)Experience in hydrocarbons cracker manufacturing technologies. Good spoken and written English, equivalent to TOEIC score of 650 or above

Skill preferred:

Project Management: Supervising the work of a team to achieve all project goals within the given constraints. executing projects to improve work processes.Asset Integrity Management:  Ensuring that an asset will perform its desired function over its life cycle. Balance the designing, maintenance and replacement of assets throughout their life cycle, while minimizing costs to business in terms of finance, time and resourcesInspection techniques: Practice of examining the physical condition of materials, components, or entire pieces of equipment in order to determine if and for how long it will operate as intendedTeam collaboration: Working well with others and achieving a common goal. Building relationships with your team, resolving conflicts, and creating a work environment where everyone feels included and respected.Communication: Able to communicate effectively, accurately, and efficiently.Problem - Solving: Ability to successfully manage and find solutions for complex and unexpected situations. Leadership: Managing workload and ensuring quality deliverables of process of MI team
