Our client in Evansville, IN is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Tech to join their team. As a Mechanical Maintenance Tech, you will be part of the Maintenance supporting team. The ideal candidate will have electronics maintenance experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under minimal supervision which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Tech** **Location: Evansville, IN** **Pay Range: $18.50 - $28+** **What’s the Job?** + Troubleshoot and repair packaging and processing equipment working with equipment vendors as necessary + Assist manufacturing representatives, Project Engineering, Contract Engineering, and departmental personnel on new equipment installation + Modify existing equipment and identify alternative measures for correcting or improving equipment performance + Inspect, operate and test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Provide support for root cause analysis so long term corrective actions can put in place. mechanical components. + Must be able to work from drawings, schematics, sketches, work orders and verbal instruction. Able to use precision measuring tools and understand tolerances & must have experience with setup and operations of machining and shop tools **What’s Needed?** + Have a two year Associate Degree in Electronics Technology (or equivalent), plus at least one (1) year of experience, or + Have completed a certified electronics technology (or equivalent) apprenticeship program, plus at least two (2) years experience, or + Have a minimum of five (5) years of industrial electronics maintenance experience.
