We are recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join the team located in Cork. The successful candidate will undertake maintenance tasks (emergency, reactive, planned and corrective) in accordance with client specified plans. **Key Responsibilities** ¾ You will work as part of the client mechanical team to carry out all maintenance, installations and repairs. You will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment, ensuring all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with client policies and procedures and ensure that they are recorded also. ¾ You will support the engineering and production teams on continuous improvement and monitor equipment to minimise downtime and be able to recommend continuous improvement actions. ¾ You will also carry out the effective analysis and elimination of recurring equipment problems and help to maintain the engineering area in terms of good housekeeping and health and safety. ¾ Follow maintenance risk assessments on all work activity ensuring safe systems of work are adhered to at all times ¾ Ensure all plant rooms and workspaces are maintained and kept in a safe condition at all times ¾ Report / escalate all out of line situations, including Near-Miss & Accident Reporting. **Skills / Experience Required** ¾ Previouspharmaceutical/GMP experience desirable ¾ Maintenance Fitter Craft Certificate or equivalent is essential ¾ Recognised / fully completed apprenticeship ¾ Strong customer service skills ¾ Must be able to work within a team and be self-motivated ¾ Flexible in approach to work scheduling ¾ Demonstrate ability to work under pressure. ¾ Good communication skills, both oral and written CBRE, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer (Women/Minorities/Persons with Disabilities/US Veterans)
