OVERVIEW Merrick & Company is seeking a Piping Designer with four (4) to eight (8) years of experience as a piping designer. This position will be based in our Greenwood Village, CO office. Typical wage range for this position is $32.00 - $41.00 per hour. Pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience. WHAT YOU'LL DO The Mechanical Piping designer II will include the following key responsibilities: Generation of 3D equipment modeling and piping systems, development of detailed isometric drawings from the 3D model, and equipment location drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) Utilize AutoCAD/Plant3D/CADWorx to design engineering drawings. Generate drawings for process, mechanical, piping, E&IC and taking direction from all these disciplines. Working in a multi-disciplinary team, the designer will be responsible for generating designs to meet exacting technical standards. Travel to client project sites to support data collection and as-built and design efforts as needed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Four (4) to eight (8) years of related experience. Background in the development of piping systems. Experience in industrial piping design and proficiency using AutoCAD/Plant3D/CADWorx. Ability to work in multi-disciplinary design teams. Knowledge or experience in the use of national standards including ASME B31. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and must be insurable under Merrickās insurance carrier.
