Opportunity Overview:  Mechanical Planner – Full time 12-month Contract – Surry, VA

 

Are you interested in being part of an innovative team that supports Westinghouse’s mission to provide clean energy solutions?  WECTEC Staffing/Westinghouse has a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Planner to support Westinghouse project work at the Surry Power Plant in Surry, VA. This is a 12 month contract with potential to extend.  

 

What your day-to-day looks like:

 

Take Approved Design/Engineering Change Package and develop Work Order and write work steps for field implementation Field Engineering support to walkdown the modification for constructability Develop BOM (Bill of Material) for ordering of parts and issuance to the project

 

What we need to see from you:     

 

High School Graduate or Equivalent  Additional education in Mechanical/Civil Engineering preferred Current Qualifications for Planning APS Experienced Mechanical / Civil Planner in the Nuclear Industry with history of Weld Map creation 6-8 + years of experience in the nuclear field
