We are looking for a Mechanical Preconstruction Project Manager (MPPM) candidate to join our Mechanical Preconstruction team located in Carlsbad, CA, supporting work being installed on the East Coast. Our Mechanical Preconstruction PM's are responsible for the direction, and coordination of all mechanical preconstruction activities to produce quality work, within project requirements, targeted budget, schedule, and in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. This position may also assist the Mechanical Department Leader as required with other scopes of work. Qualifications include:\n\nA BA\/BS degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is the minimum formal education required for this position. A combination of equivalent work experience and training in the field may be qualifying.\nCourses in project management, construction management, mechanical trade school, BIM and CADD, etc. preferred.\nA combined total of 10+ years in the mechanical industry with 5 or more years work experience as a mechanical Project Manager \/ Preconstruction. Experience creating conceptual estimates and managing design for mechanical and plumbing systems highly desirable; Work in the design-build government, military, or large commercial construction industry is preferred.\nComputer literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel, and TEAMS) preferred. Training can be provided.\n\n
Pay: $95k - $115K per year \n
