Mechanical Production Engineer - DIRECT HIRE

  Pay Range: $70,000 - $90,000, DOE Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Start: ASAP 

The Mechanical Production Engineer position in Limerick Maine is responsible for working closely with the Engineering Manager and the Production Floor teams to design and configure custom parts using 3D CAD equipment to meet customer orders. You will be responsible for assisting in every stage of the process from designing custom parts and drawings, assisting with assemblies, and resolving manufacturing issues. This is a full time, 1st shift DIRECT HIRE position! 

 

Job Responsibilities:

Create new part drawings and BOMs for each project using SolidWorks.  Assist the production teams with assemblies, and oversee the testing of the designs. Manage accurate documentation and drawings. Collaborate with machine shops and the production team to resolve manufacturing issues. Handle other projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Technical degree Experience with 3D CAD systems; preferably SolidWorks Experience in fabrication and casting strong desired Customer focused mindset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and experience.
