Job Title: Mechanical Project Engineer
Job Description

Design automation solutions following company procedures, standards, and client specifications. Develop initial sketches, models, and engineering calculations for new equipment. Create detailed part and assembly drawings. Conduct research to gather information for design improvements. Perform calculations for proposed machine parts and assemblies, such as tolerances and dimensions. Support the building and installation processes to ensure adherence to design specifications. Assist in interviewing and onboarding new mechanical designers. Update mechanical design team processes and procedures. Utilize existing parts to assemble products and develop new designs. Generate print packages for the purchasing department. Maintain and revise existing models and drawings. Communicate effectively to ensure successful designs for current and future projects. Assist operations with various production tasks as needed. Reverse engineer parts and assemblies.

The work environment involves utilizing advanced design software and tools, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks. The role requires collaboration with various departments to ensure design specifications are met and involves supporting both the building and installation processes. The position also includes updating processes and procedures, as well as assisting operations with production tasks as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00
