Mechanical Project Manager
Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager Job Description We are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager with over 10 years of experience in MEP facility design and at least 3 years of project management experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD, with Revit as an added advantage. You will be responsible for client meetings to kick off projects, managing project schedules and budgets, design proposals, and ensuring the accuracy of designs. Strong writing and verbal skills, as well as condition assessment experience, are essential. Project types vary from government facilities, hospitals, laboratories, to office buildings, including clients such as the VA, Army Corps of Engineers, and the Department of Agriculture. Responsibilities + Meet with clients to kick off projects + Manage project schedules and budgets + Prepare and review design proposals + Ensure the accuracy of designs + Coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, owners, and VPs + Conduct condition assessments Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering + 10-15 years of experience in MEP facility design + At least 3 years of project management experience + Proficiency in AutoCAD + Strong writing and verbal communication skills Additional Skills & Qualifications + PE license preferred + Experience with Revit is a plus Work Environment This role offers a hybrid work schedule with 2 days in the office located in Severna Park, MD, and 3 days remote. The first week will be fully in-office for IT setup purposes. The position also includes 10% travel, which involves day trips within the DMV area and occasional trips outside the DMV every other month. This position provides the opportunity to work directly with owners, VPs, and clients, offering great growth potential. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $59.00 - $71.00 In office in Severna Park, MD 2 days a week with 3 days remote. Workplace Type This is a hybrid position in Pasadena,MD.
