Job Description

This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including project management, estimation, client relations, and business development for future projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong client base, managing HVAC/plumbing/process sales, and working with field leadership to oversee field labor for each project. This position offers the opportunity to build and expand your own business within the company.

ResponsibilitiesAct as the single source of responsibility to the company and the customer.Perform all project management functions required to promote and finalize sales including concept engineering, complete estimates, written proposals, direct meetings, to successful job completion.Successfully manage contracts, including sales, estimating, procurement, and execution.Coordinate field labor and installation sequencing between the customer and field leadership.Understand and manage the financial aspects of the job including forecasting, budget preparation, and cost control.Provide necessary documentation such as letters, proposals, memos, contracts, change orders, and strategies for good business practices and legal protection.Handle billing and job cost tracking.Build and manage relationships with internal and external customers, including leadership of client meetings and contract development.Maintain cordial relationships with all clients, including vendors, subcontractors, and the industry.Provide project coordination, leadership, and guidance to all departmental efforts including Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, and Service during project construction.Contribute to special studies, committees, etc. to advance the company's technical abilities in engineering, planning and estimating, installation procedures, etc.Effectively communicate with internal and external customers, consulting with appropriate personnel including all Management and Department Heads.Attend all Project Management Sales and Construction Meetings.Schedule and coordinate pre-construction project kickoff meetings with department heads and supervisors.Utilize and coordinate staff from all departments as needed for each project.Essential Skills5+ years of experience for intermediate PM role; 8+ years of experience for SR PM roleExperience in estimation, construction, HVAC, plumbing, bidding, and project managementProficiency with estimating software and construction estimatingStrong skills in proposals, procurement, forecasting, budget management, and job costingAbility to manage HVAC projects valued at $10M+Personable with strong interpersonal skillsExperience in mechanical engineeringWork Environment

The role is based in the Sparks, NV location. The team is collaborative and supportive, with a strong emphasis on mentorship. The Project Manager will be a leader in the office.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $180000.00
