Mechanical QA/QC Engineer – Sandviken, Sweden – Data Centres
Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organization, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. We are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects across Europe, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical QA/QC Engineer to join our team. This position will be based on-site in Gavle, Sweden.
Responsibilities
Quality Assurance and Control of Mechanical Systems: Overseeing the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other essential mechanical systems in accordance with project specifications, standards, and codes. Inspection and Testing: Conducting regular inspections and testing of mechanical systems and components to ensure they meet the required quality standards, operational specifications, and regulatory compliance. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of all quality inspections, testing results, and non-conformance reports (NCRs), ensuring proper documentation for compliance with client and regulatory requirements. Coordination with Contractors and Subcontractors: Communicating and coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and other teams to address quality issues, resolve discrepancies, and ensure smooth project execution while adhering to timelines. Reviewing Drawings and Specifications: Ensuring that mechanical design drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications are thoroughly reviewed and comply with all relevant codes and standards before construction begins. Continuous Improvement and Corrective Actions: Identifying areas of improvement in mechanical processes, recommending corrective and preventive actions, and supporting the implementation of improvements to maintain high-quality construction standards throughout the project.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent trades background in Mechanical Engineering
Data Centre experience is preferred
Must have EU Passport or Right To Work in Sweden
Benefits
€80,000 - €85,000 per annum + Full Rotational Package
