THE OPPORTUNITY:
As a Reliability Engineer in the Maintenance department, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving reliability issues within the facility, actively participating in area critical maintenance initiatives and root cause analysis across the facility and assisting in outage and shutdown execution as required.
HOW YOU WILL IMPACT SMURFIT WESTROCK:
Actively promotes and participates in all elements of the safety program.Supports and fosters safety and environmental compliance.Provide daily technical assistance for mechanical issues for the maintenance organization Managing maintenance resources or contractors during outages or project implementationLeads projects to continuously improve equipment availability and reduce maintenance costs.Supports the strategy and core values of the Maintenance Department.Manages and reports Key Process Indicators (KPIs) detailing all the results of the reliability program activities.Recommends innovative solutions to increase equipment and facility life and reduce maintenance costs through the analysis of repetitive equipment failures/breakdowns and predictive maintenance analysis reports.Submits recommendations and justifications for capital expenditures that support and improve the Reliability program.
