Job Description
The Project Superintendent is responsible for assisting the Construction Project Manager to ensure that the projects are completed and maintain the standard of excellence established by the company and customer. Certain tasks will be assigned by the Assistant Construction Project Manager to take the lead on with little oversight. Along with working with the Construction Project Manager, this role will be given the opportunity to execute selected projects including managing financials, administration, implementation, and customer satisfaction. The Project Superintendent will ensure that quality standards are maintained across all tasks and projects.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with stakeholdersLead and manage onsite team, subcontractors, and provide daily updates to project managerCoordinate and oversee job site logistics, daily work activities, day-to-day customer interactions, and progress of all subcontractorsOrder materials for projects, responsible for on-site material, reconcile material shipments, and coordinate delivery of equipment and material with subcontractorsEssential SkillsConstruction managementCommercial constructionConstruction supervisionCooling towerCooling systemsChill waterChillersBuilding automation systemsHVAC Commercial experienceDirect MEP supervisionLarge commercial industrial experienceMechanical experienceExperience with chiller plants and general constructionGeneral contractorProject schedulingAdditional Skills & Qualifications10 years of construction industry experience in a supervisory role – commercial (Must have technical experience in a supervisory capacity)2-year degree from technical college in related field with 4 years of experience in the construction industry or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceHigh School Diploma at a minimumProficient at reading plans, specifications; familiarity with project schedules, budgets, safety proceduresProficient with MS Office Suite & OutlookExcellent communication skills (oral & verbal) – customer facingMust possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violationsOSHA 30 certification (if required, facilitation will be provided)Work Environment
On site in Orlando. Superintendents need to be flexible with the schedule based on when work needs to be completed. They may need to work on weekends.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00
