Overall Purpose\n

An Inspector\/Tech is a vital part of the first line of defense to keep the assembly process running smoothly.\n

Reports to\n

Site Supervisor\/Site Leads\n

Responsibilities\n

(To include but not limited to the following)\n

Client Relationship & Business Development\n\nTransporting materials to different locations within the facility to ensure operational efficiency\n\n

Operations\n\nPerforms audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness for use.\nContains non-conforming parts and\/or sub-assemblies.\nRectifies non-conforming material by rework, sorting and\/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader.\nUses methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and\/or disassembly to rectify non-conforming material.\nDetermines the tools and equipment needed to do the job.\nGrinds, sands, cleans and oils parts and\/or sub-assemblies by using hand tools or equipment.\nOther duties as assigned.\nMechanical inclined to do minor repairs.\nMust be a self-starter and should not need adult supervision which includes working with written or verbal instructions.\nMust be able to keep up with daily records, time, quantities and input to our system.\nMust have a valid driver's license.\n\n
