Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to assemble and test complex mechanical and electrical systems in a cleanroom environment. This role involves supporting process improvements, engineering testing, lean initiatives, and quality improvements.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble and test complex mechanical/electrical systems in a cleanroom environment.Support process improvements, engineering testing, lean initiatives, and quality improvements.Produce products in accordance with established specifications.Observe and report ongoing problems in product construction or operation and support solutions.Contribute to product and process improvements.Manufacture and deliver high-level, complex systems according to established procedures.Solve technical problems that occur during production.Set an example for team members and oversee the total process from assembly to testing.Actively contribute to the pilot production process and the transition to volume production.Develop and improve TPD, processes, records, and other relevant topics.Investigate the impact of new procedures on the production process.Generate constructive ideas for product improvement.Acquire and pass on knowledge of new and established products, processes, modifications, sub-modules, and complete systems.Support good teamwork by seeking solutions and implementing departmental tasks.Coordinate activities in the production plan and monitor the use of tools, materials, and equipment.Essential SkillsProficiency in blueprint readingMechanical and electrical assembly skillsExperience in lean manufacturing and process improvementTesting and troubleshooting experienceFamiliarity with hand tools and test equipmentKnowledge of cleanroom protocolsAbility to read and interpret schematicsStrong problem-solving skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsAS or BS Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemical, or equivalent experience preferredManufacturing internship or co-op experienceLean Manufacturing Training (Intro to Lean, 5S, Kaizen, VSM, etc.) preferredStrong mechanical skillsWork Environment

1st Shift compressed work weeks:
D1:
Sun, Mon, Tues 6 am to 6 pm Week 1
Sun-Weds- 6 am to 6 pm - Week 2
D2 :
Weds, Thurs, Fri, Saturday- 6 am to 6 pm Week 1
Thurs, Fri, Saturday - 6 am to 6 pm Week 2
2nd shift: Monday to Friday
3 pm to 11 pm
3rd Shift:
Sunday to Friday
10 pm to 6 am
