Wood is currently recruiting for an offshore Mechanical Technician with previous offshore oil & gas experience in the North Sea and knowledge of North Sea standards and regulations. 

The position is based in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea. The normal working rotation 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off.

Due to the operating standards in the region being aligned to those in the North Sea, experience of working in the North Sea is required.

The Mechanical Technician will perform a variety of duties regarding installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and overhauling of machinery and/or mechanical equipment including Caterpillar Diesel Engines and a range of Pumps. A key function of the role will be to train and mentor a small team of national employees.
