**Mechanical Technician $24/hr** **Job Description** We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Technicians to join our team tasked with decommissioning fencing on-site at an Amazon Airport Hub. This role is easy to learn and pick up, but consistent attendance is crucial. You will use impact drills, hand tools, and schematics for most positions. **Responsibilities** + Use conventional, electrical, and battery-operated tools for drilling, tapping, leveling, cutting, torquing, fixing, bending, and assembling. + Perform mechanical assembly tasks. + Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks. + Ensure attention to detail in all tasks. + Install and construct as per project requirements. + Maintain and repair mechanical components. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical skills with experience using hand and power tools. + Construction or maintenance expertise. + Experience with loading and unloading trucks. + Attention to detail. + Experience in installation, construction, carpentry, industrial repair, and assembly. + Ability to read and follow blueprints. + Quality assurance and data entry skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical assembly experience. + Electrical assembly experience. + Forklift operation skills. + Inventory management. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team in a large warehouse environment with ample opportunities for growth. You will work closely with PAC Advisors and Aerotek Services. The dress code includes steel-toe or composite shoes, jeans, and a work shirt. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided by the client. The working hours are from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with some overtime required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of San Bernardino, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
