**Job Title: Mechanical Technician** **Pay: $20-$35/hr depending on experience** **Shift:** **Monday thru Friday, 7:30AM-4:00PM** **Job Description** As a Mechanical Technician, you will perform all repair work associated with AC and DC electric motors. This includes disassembly, cleaning, testing, failure analysis, repair, balancing, and assembly of electric motor repair parts. **Responsibilities** + Read blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, work orders, instructions, formulas, or processing charts. + Distinguish colors accurately for electrical work. + Move or lift heavy objects as needed. + Understand and use technical operating, service, or repair manuals. + Maintain production or work records. + Test mechanical products, equipment, electrical/electronic wiring, systems, or fixtures. + Maintain inventory of supplies. + Install and connect electrical equipment to power circuits. + Repair or replace electrical wiring, circuits, fixtures, or equipment. + Solder electrical or electronic connections or components. + Determine installation, service, or repair needs. + Inspect machinery or equipment to determine necessary adjustments or repairs. + Maintain or repair industrial or related equipment/machinery and work tools. + Operate coil winding machines and lathes. + Use measuring devices in repairing industrial or heavy equipment. + Use precision measuring devices in mechanical repair work. + Clean equipment or machinery. + Assemble gear systems. + Fabricate, assemble, or disassemble manufactured products using pneumatic tools, electric or electronic test devices, or equipment. + Apply cleaning solvents and lubricate machinery/equipment/parts. + Operate hoists, winches, or hydraulic booms. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical repair skills. + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. + Mechanical aptitude. + Experience with electric motors. **Why Work Here?** We offer a hands-on work environment in a close-knit team of 10-12 people.
