Nightwing is seeking an experienced Master Mechanical Technician to lead the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of mechanical systems in industrial, commercial, or specialized environments. This role includes troubleshooting complex issues, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring all work adheres to safety and regulatory standards. ****This position is contingent upon contract award**** Required Skills: Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Skilled in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical failures. Experience with precision tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and diagnostic instruments. Strong understanding of safety standards and procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO). Ability to lead teams and oversee large-scale maintenance or installation projects. Desired Skills: Familiarity with automated systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Experience with energy-efficient and sustainable mechanical systems. Knowledge of condition-based maintenance techniques, such as vibration analysis and thermography. Ability to manage budgets and inventory for mechanical projects and spare parts. Strong communication skills for team coordination and client interactions. Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of a certified mechanical apprenticeship or technical training program. Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a mechanical technician, with significant experience in leadership roles.
