The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical principles, hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools, and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic manufacturing environment **Responsibilities:** + Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components. + Work closely with our team of engineers and technicians to fabricate, assemble, and test prototypes and production-ready parts **Qualifications:** _Required:_ + Current DOD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI. + Experience in a machine shop or related environment + Strong understanding of mechanical principles and concepts + Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools + Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions + Excellent communication and teamwork skills + Ability to lift to 50 pounds and stand for long periods + Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in a machine shop environment _Desired:_ + Current Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI + Certificate in a mechanical-related field (e.g., machining, engineering technology) + Experience with CNC machines, 3D printing, or other advanced manufacturing technologies + Knowledge of mechanical design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Mastercam) + Familiarity with quality control and inspection procedures + Experience with lean manufacturing principles and practices - **________________________________________________________________________________________** **What You Can Expect:** **A culture of integrity.** At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
