Apply today and you could start as soon as this week. **As a PeopleReady associate you'll benefit from:** + Connections and experience with some of the top companies in your area + Great benefit package options + Get matched to jobs quickly + Competitive pay and steady schedule + The ability to see your schedule and track your hours right from our easytouse app, JobStack! **Pay Rate:** _The pay rate for this job is $35_ _$35_ _/ hour*_ **What you'll be doing as a Mechanical Technician:** + Perform daily activities as organized and planned from the Mechanical Foreman + Collaborate with a small team of technicians + Get fully familiar with the operations and equipment of the plant + Fully aware of the direct safety hazards involved with any particular job assignment and all other hazards around the plant + Ensure all applicable codes, standards, and regulations are met + Commitment to health and safety while performing all aspects of their duties + Assist in carrying our controlled start ups and shut downs of the plant under supervision from management + Maintenance routines and equipment repairs on all mechanical equipment with or w/out supervision + Inform of defects to Mechanical Foreman + Report all defects in MMS software + Ensure all plant equipment is maintained in accordance with the Mechanical Foreman guidelines + Maintain all plant and equipment integrity + Monitor performance and operation of the plant through the SCADA Interface + Run performance test on RO stands as required + Rectify defects that are recorded in the defects book + Maintain an organized tool and workshop area + Assist in the clean up of the facility + Multipletask personality + Strong attention to detail + Perform preventative maintenance **Available shifts:** Shift Timings 1st Shift (Day) , 2nd Shift (Evening) , Weekends **Job requirements:** + H.S.
