Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Pay: $25 to $33 per hour ($50,000 to $70,000 per year)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team. In this role, you will assemble, maintain, test, and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. Your expertise will be crucial in diagnosing equipment malfunctions and restoring them to optimal operation.

Responsibilities:

Assemble and disassemble machines according to drawings and industry best practicesLayout back panels and wire machinesPerform sub-assembly and final machine inspectionsConduct preventive maintenance as directedDocument changes made to machinesIdentify and troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing processRedline prints as needed

Essential Skills:

TroubleshootingMechanical and electrical maintenancePneumatics and hydraulicsAssembly and electro-mechanical systemsPreventive maintenanceBlueprint and schematic interpretationInstallation and wiringPower tool usageIndustrial knowledge

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing, mechanical, or panel wiring environmentAbility to read pneumatic prints and understand pneumatic theoryProficiency in reading and understanding electrical (ladder prints) and mechanical blueprints and machine layoutsWillingness to travel outside the local area and overnight, including international travel (10% to 20%)
