We are seeking an **Mechanical Technician with RMA experience** for our facility in **San Jose, CA** . This role will be responsible for managing and improving processes and test capacity for contract manufacturing projects. **Responsibilities:** + Monitor and maintain testing station performance + Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of test equipment + Load and unload PCBA onto test fixtures + Soldering experience required + Scan units into test software + Assist engineers with test station setup and processes + Maintain a clean work environment (5S standards) + Operate Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment + Sort RMAs by program type to reduce changeovers + Identify failures detected at AOI with red indicators + Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts + Handle material storage, receiving, and inspections + Operate warehouse equipment and maintain organized storage + Use computer software to input data and generate reports + Other duties as assigned **Requirements:** + Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines + Capable of handling up to **30 lbs** and performing repetitive movements + Experience handling **fragile PCBAs** carefully + High school diploma or **equivalent preferred** (experience considered) + Ability to read a tape measure, work instructions, and safety documents + Must follow **safety protocols and PPE requirements** + **IPC Certification required** **Job Details:** + **Job Type:** Full-time, Temp-to-hire + **Pay:** $26.00 - $28.00 per hour + **Schedule:** 8-hour day shift + **Work Location:** In-person, **San Jose, CA 95131** (commute required) **Pay Details:** $26.00 to $28.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
