The Mechanical Technician will support the Bastion Product development in Santa Fe, Texas. The Bastion Engineering Technician will support development activity of high-pressure hydraulic system assembly, maintenance, and testing. During deployment of the system some fieldwork will be required.\n

RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nAssemble and disassembly of Subsea hydraulic accumulator system.\nShop process development.\nTesting system build. \nCleaning and corrosion treatment of hydraulic system components.\nSupport and maintain all shop tools and GSE.\nFacility maintenance and cleanliness.\nOther duties as assigned. \n\n

WORK LOCATION: \n\nThis position is located onsite in Santa Fe, TX (77510) and will also work at Bastion's corporate office in Houston, TX (77058). \nThis position may require some travel. \n\n

BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS REQUIRED:\n

STANDARD BASTION REQUIREMENTS:\n\nMust have experience with Microsoft Office Suite.\nAll of Bastion's employees must be team players. \nAble to communicate effectively, verbally and in written form, with internal and external customers.\nAble to follow company programs, processes, procedures, practices, requirements, goals, and objectives.\nMust have a strong work ethic and must be safety culture oriented.\nMust be organized with good time management skills.\nGenerally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.\nWork may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). \nMay require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).\nRegular attendance in accordance with an established work schedule is critical.\nAbility to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.\n\n
