Job Title: Mechanical Technician - ComponentsJob Description We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team in the Components Lab. The successful candidate will work within the servo area, focusing on test setups, running tests, building fixtures, and troubleshooting with engineers. This role involves working with MTS and hydraulic equipment testing. Responsibilities + Set up and run tests as directed. + Build and maintain test fixtures. + Troubleshoot mechanical issues in collaboration with engineers. + Conduct hydraulic equipment testing. + Operate test stands for engine and transmission pumps. + Manage pressure cycle stands. Essential Skills + Experience with mechanical test setups and running tests. + Ability to build and troubleshoot test fixtures. + Proficiency with MTS and hydraulic equipment testing. + Experience with test stands, engine and transmission pumps, and pressure cycle stands. + Strong troubleshooting skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 3-5 years of relevant experience. + Associate's degree or High School diploma. + Completion of shop class in high school. Work Environment You will work in a component lab and servo area, handling various test setups, fixtures, and hydraulic equipment. The role involves hands-on testing and troubleshooting, requiring attention to detail and collaboration with engineers.
