We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for performing general repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety standards and customer satisfaction. As part of our team, you will conduct mechanical inspections, troubleshoot issues, and resolve customer concerns efficiently. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician and the ability to perform repairs on both mechanical and electrical systems.

Perform general repair services, including mechanical inspections and repairs such as brake jobs, exhaust system repairs, front-end alignments, ball joint replacements, and air conditioning maintenance for auction vehicles.Conduct general maintenance services, including oil and fluid changes, tire changes, and vehicle checkovers, while ensuring all safety procedures are adhered to.Inspect vehicle undercarriages to identify any cracks, bends, or other damage.Conduct pre- and post-sale inspections, including test drives, to assess vehicle condition.Complete motor vehicle safety inspections, including checks for body, frame, damage, transmission, differential, and overall powertrain integrity, and finalize required safety checklists.Perform general shop maintenance, pulling vehicles into the shop, and test driving vehicles for diagnostic purposes.Provide mentorship and assistance to apprentice technicians learning the trade.May assist with sourcing parts and providing quotes to customers.May help complete work orders, including recording parts and labor entries.Must Have’s:
Extensive experience in repairing and servicing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems on a variety of vehicles.Valid Driver’s License.Basic computer skills and proficiency in smartphone usage.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.Nice to Have’s:
Experience mentoring apprentice technicians.Ability to source parts and assist with customer quotes.Previous experience in a busy repair shop environment.Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Certification.Location:
