The AMO Mechanical Technician efficiently maintains, modifies and repairs equipment / tools mechanically and mobilises equipment/ tools according to operational requirements. This role requires a Mechanical background. Applicants must be resident to Norway supporting Norway Operations.
 

As an AMO Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for:

Performing mechanical assembly, maintenance, and overhaul on Wireline Intervention equipmentWorking to pre-defined procedures in line with established work practices and quality standards incl Lean and S6 methodologyLoading and unloading of offshore containers and basketsAssisting in the enhancement of maintenance processes, documentation, and qualityMaintaining equipment records and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programsUnderstanding and knowledge of various industrial sectors such as fishing tools, wellbore intervention and completionsComplying with HSE policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a high school technical diploma or equivalent qualification in a mechanical field or relevant experienceBe fluent in Norwegian and English language skillsHave relevant industry experience (Oilfield, Automotive, Mechanic) with excellent mechanical aptitudeBe able to show good problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skillsBe proficient in reading and interpreting maintenance documents, drawings, parts lists and following formal proceduresBe able to demonstrate basic computer skills
