Mechatronics And Robotics Technician
**Job Title: Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT)** **Job Description** As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT), you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining material handling equipment, such as conveyors. You will also be tasked with performing preventative maintenance routines, documenting procedures, and troubleshooting equipment issues. This role requires a blend of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic system knowledge, as well as experience with automated conveyor systems. **Responsibilities** + Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment (e.g., conveyors). + Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures. + Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries. + Enter downtime data in daily logs and complete PM sheets. + Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment. + Track and store the department's inventory, including spare parts. + Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures. + 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls. + 2+ years of experience in reading blueprints and electrical schematics. + 2+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles. + 2+ years of experience following and demonstrating safety standards. + 1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems. + 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications. + High school diploma or equivalent. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience troubleshooting basic input and output functions of building operations. + Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). + A continuous improvement mindset. + Willingness to learn and grow within the company. + Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and safety standards. + Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field. + 2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field. + 2+ years of experience working with PLC-based control systems. + Experience with robotic operation and maintenance. **Why Work Here?** Join a top employer recognized by Forbes for the past three years. Be prepared to walk 10,000 steps per day and lift up to 49 lbs. Performance will be tracked by data and numbers.
