Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Engineer with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience to design technical solutions in the area of mechatronics. This role involves leading a defined area of technical expertise with varied technical complexity and contributing to product and system roadmaps. You will drive development from research and early phases to product maintenance, ensuring that designs meet business targets and requirements. This position requires self-sufficiency, proactive engagement in ongoing development, and the ability to work independently.

ResponsibilitiesDesign technical solutions according to given prerequisites such as function, style, volume, geometry, costs, quality targets, and regulations.Lead a defined area of technical expertise with varied technical complexity.Provide input in product and system roadmaps.Drive development from research and early phases to product maintenance.Ensure the design fulfills business targets and requirements.Develop and share acquired competence and provide technical advice.Manage networking across the organization and influence work at other sites.Network and build relationships with universities, external institutes, and partners.Participate in business development and innovation.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.2 to 5 years of relevant experience.Self-sufficient and able to take lead on tasks and work independently.Proactive engagement with learning opportunities and ongoing development.Experience with data analysis and data analytics to identify trends in spare parts usage.Experience in aftermarket and spare parts solutions.Strong technical and engineering mindset.Additional Skills & QualificationsMaster's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred but not required.Internship or co-op experience in automotive, truck, heavy truck, or OEM industries.Experience with large assembly management.Ability to take ownership and demonstrate maturity.Work Environment

Work in the technical center at the Greensboro headquarters. The environment includes open work and desk spaces, lockers, and an onsite cafeteria that offers breakfast and lunch.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00
