Meck Pre-K Assistant Teacher | Huntersville The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a NC Meck Pre-K Assistant Teacher for our NC 4-Star school in the Huntersville area. We are hiring immediately and would love to meet you! Pay Range: $18-20 per hour Pay rate is determined by relevant education and experience. Candidates with a high school diploma and limited experience will be paid at the lower end of the range. Candidates with EDU 119 to an associate’s degree in early childhood education or a related field may be paid mid-range. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field and applicable experience may be paid at the higher end of the range. Teacher Assistant Responsibilities: + In conjunction with co-teacher, utilize the NC Meck Pre-K curriculum to prepare children for success in kindergarten and beyond. + Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment. + Document and share with families the important milestones in a child’s day using our app. + Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child's education and development. + Encourage and model social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate.
