Job Title: Med Gas Plumber/Pipefitter

Job Description

We are on the hunt for skilled journeyman plumbers/pipefitters with an ASSE 6010 certification (Medical Gas System Installer) for high-impact commercial projects. The perfect candidate will bring a wealth of experience from environments like hospitals, labs, and schools. Expertise in handling a variety of pipe materials (steel, copper, cast iron) and proficiency in brazing, soldering, welding, mega press, and pro press techniques are essential. A strong ability to read blueprints and possession of personal tools are also necessary.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain medical gas systems in large commercial settings.Work with steel and copper pipes using brazing, soldering, welding, mega press, and pro press techniques.Perform groove fitted and welded pipe fitting.Manage systems including chilled water, VFR, Victaulic, hydronic, and steam systems.Accurately read and interpret blueprints.Engage in 80% rough-in and 20% trim plumbing tasks, demonstrating comprehensive job phase expertise.

Essential Skills

Journeyman license in plumbing/pipefitting.ASSE 6010 certification (Medical Gas System Installer).Experience in heavy commercial or industrial settings.Proficiency with steel, copper, and cast iron pipes.Skilled in brazing, soldering, welding, mega press, and pro press.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Own hand tools and impact drills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with chilled water, VFR, Victaulic, hydronic, and steam systems.Strong commitment to on-site safety.Reliability and teamwork.Positive attitude.

Work Environment

Work on heavy commercial projects with standard hours from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, depending on the project.Standard work week is 40 hours, with occasional opportunities for overtime.Project locations include Boulder, Golden, Denver, Fort Collins, and Aurora; candidates will be assigned to the closest project to their home.

Contract to Hire position based in Westminster, Colorado.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00
