ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions and surgical needs. This role requires excellent clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, including administering medications, performing wound care, and monitoring vital signs.Assessment and Documentation: Conduct patient assessments, document findings accurately, and report changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team.Collaboration: Work collaboratively with physicians, RNs, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-operative care, ensuring they understand and can follow care instructions.Clinical Skills: Perform various clinical tasks such as inserting catheters, starting IVs, and drawing blood, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.Support Services: Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients as needed.Compliance: Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies, maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff. 1. Current and valid state license
2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. IV certification upon hire (state specific)
