Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions and surgical needs. This role requires excellent clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, including administering medications, performing wound care, and monitoring vital signs.Assessment and Documentation: Conduct patient assessments, document findings accurately, and report changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team.Collaboration: Work collaboratively with physicians, RNs, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-operative care, ensuring they understand and can follow care instructions.Clinical Skills: Perform various clinical tasks such as inserting catheters, starting IVs, and drawing blood, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.Support Services: Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients as needed.Compliance: Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies, maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1. Current and valid state license
2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. IV certification upon hire (state specific)
