**Overview**
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Associate Director / Director for one of our key regional client account to manage their Travel Retail, International distribution business, and also support the Global Client Lead on regional business across SAP. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and nurturing client relationships and will also be the day-to-day liaison between the client and media team (part of which is based in Shanghai, China), provide leadership, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure the delivery of high-quality advertising solutions that meet client objectives.
The incumbent effectively leverages experience, knowledge and skills to drive innovative thinking while balancing client, company, and team needs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead and manage the day-to-day strategic integrated media planning activities for assigned account(s).
+ Help develop planning objectives and strategies that coincide with client’s marketing direction.
+ Establish and grow client relationships by demonstrating an understanding of industry and client business issues
+ Should be comfortable working in a hybrid environment as the core planning team which focuses on China is based in Shanghai.
+ Achieve the financial goals of the account by managing costs, revenue, and scope of work in accordance with client contract
+ Oversee budget allocation process for all media based on client initiatives and direction; accurately project costs and anticipate the financial results of plan revisions
+ Cross team collaboration to work with the division leads in Strategy, Programmatic, Content, Analytics & Insights and Ad Ops team.
+ Work with teams to evaluate media performance and KPIs to determine the extent to which the original objectives and strategies were met.
+ Scope of work management, manage and optimise working process to ensure seamless implementation of projects is essential.
+ Establish and maintain effective relationships within and outside the immediate team
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
+ 8-10 years of strong media experience, prior experience in managing large client accounts preferred.
+ Experience in planning and implementing in China is preferred but not a must. However, the candidate will have to orient once on job.
+ Ability to develop POVs on various media in the marketplace is essential to this role
+ Excellent presenter and strong in client & stakeholders management
+ Is sound in online and offline strategic planning
+ Detailed awareness of media landscape, trends, challenges and competition.
+ Good understanding of research tools; ability to translate data into well-articulated ideas looking outside the box
+ Creative ability to partner and develop innovation and first to market opportunities
+ Superior organizational, interpersonal and managerial skills with attention to detail
