This is an entry level, on property, media & marketing role; the primary focus is as follows:

1) Content Capture and Posting - onsite social media content capture and postings for hotel (and occasional signature restaurant collaboration) on all platforms

2) Property Marketing & PR Duties - media stays, onsite activations, community relations, photo shoots, etc.

3) Website(s) Maintenance & Updates - Hilton brand website, branded vanity website, online travel agency and other online reputation management (with assistance of various 3rd party agencies)

4) Basic Promotional Graphic Design - on property needs for collateral creation/editing and on property placement

 

Additional minor responsibilities will include some administrative duties, sales & marketing related projects, marketing assistance for other departments on an ad hoc basis, and other duties as identified by leadership. Responsibilities

Social Media Content:

 

 Capturing and schedule postings of current and engaging on property content for social media platforms of various property related entities (hotel, restaurants) with a goal to increase overall social media and marketing reach Measurement and reporting of monthly metrics to meet or exceed impressions, engagement, and audience growth goals Oversee and drive a social media strategy that supports the property with partnership from the DOSM and digital agencies in charge of SEO management dutiesThe ability to strategically think and implement a plan on social media channels that will support brand awareness and larger sales & marketing goals and benchmarks

 

Marketing, Public Relations & Graphic Design:

 Assist DOSM, events, and revenue teams with planning and execution of PR worthy activations, programming, amenities, and packages Ability to utilize branding documents to help communicate brand story and identity Work to develop and coordinate on property marketing activations, solicit media influencer and traditional media stay visits, and generate community outreach partnerships Hands on management of all stays and events related to such partnerships Organize grassroots community promotion and outreach for hotel, outlets, activations, partnerships, etc. via ‘street team’ or other initiativesManaging advertising and photo requests from vendors and clients, with DOSM oversight Help streamline on property branding and marketing efforts - assure consistency of fonts, signatures, communications, etc. for each entity and communication with clients to be ‘On Brand” Assist hotel with internal promotions and communication (flyers, signs, menus, etc.) Utilize Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat and other needed software like Canva, etc. Organize, maintain, and store a media library and electronic files for photo and video assets of all marketing materials by property and activations.

 

Website(s) Management and Information Updates:

 Responsible for content updates and maintenance of multiple branded websites - including community calendars and partner integrated websites etc. HiltonBrand.com website updates with Aimbridge management support Vanity website updates with personalized content and branding Maintain information and data accuracy as well as overall presentation of information on multiple third-party websites: Several third-party websites for sales and revenue – OTA’s, CVENT, Wedding Wire/The Knot, etc. 3D & 360 content management and maximized use on various websites listed above

 

Learning & Growth Potential Arena: Currently being managed by 3rd party partner agencies

Digital Marketing - basic knowledge (or willingness/aptitude to learn) digital marketing tactics. Ability to review results and measure successfulness of channel tactics including SEO, PPC/SEM, display advertising, social advertising, etc.

 Advertising Content – reviewing and providing actionable feedback regarding paid advertising copy, display advertisements, and social media advertisements CMS - knowledge of Website Content Manager within Hilton and understanding of its capabilities; including updating images, creating packages, and other sales materials. Coordination with Sales, Operations, and Revenue Management on packages, offers and deals and communicate offerings via digital vendors and direct to consumer emails sends

 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

 Professionalism: Represents themselves and the hotel with the highest level of integrity and professionalism, a service -focused approach and a caring, sincere attitude at all times. Exhibits a positive and involved team attitude to all hotel departments and maintains open communications with all coworkers for the best overall performance of the hotel. Display a neat, clean and business-like appearance at all times.Contributes to the hotel's overall marketing and media efforts during planning and strategy phases through research and knowledgeable input. Community/Social Media Involvement: Actively participates in those community and social media partnerships that most benefit the hotel's exposure to the community and the hotel's marketing initiatives and goals. Performs other duties as assigned or deemed necessary by leadership. The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and associates may be asked to work shift other than those they prefer to normally work.
