Description Prime Video Media Operations Sr. Manager is responsible for overseeing all media operations and execution for the LATCANZ (Latin America, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand) region. This includes managing relationships with media agency partners, coordinating with Amazon's regional, international and global media teams, and ensuring efficient and effective media delivery, governance and reporting. Other locations to be considered: MIA, LAX Key job responsibilities - Serve as the primary point of contact between Amazon and the media agency partners for the LATCANZ region, coordinating foundational initiatives to automate and integrate media planning, audit and delivery. - Collaborate with the agency teams to ensure accurate media planning, buying, execution and reporting processes in line with Amazon's business objectives and regional guidelines. - Serve as the owner of media budget and spend standardization and consolidation across the LATCANZ region, integrating media spend data from the agencies sources into Prime Video's mechanisms, working with the agency teams to develop automated spend controls and reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate data consolidation. - Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting to the regional media teams, highlighting key insights and recommendations. - Oversee the adoption and governance of media and ad tech tools across the LATCANZ region, ensuring alignment with global standards and best practices. - Develop customized solutions, as needed, to address specific regional requirements or challenges, and ensure their seamless integration with the broader media tech stack. - Establish guidelines, processes, and training programs to ensure effective and consistent utilization of media and ad tech tools across the region. - Continuously review and optimize media operations processes to drive efficiency, standardization, and scalability A day in the life As the Prime Video Media Operations Sr. Manager in LATCANZ, your day begins with a video call with the agency teams. Today, you're aligning on a standardized media reporting framework that will bring much-needed visibility and consistency across the region. You lead the discussion, drawing up templates and defining key performance metrics that everyone agrees on. Next, you turn your attention to the upcoming Quarterly Business Review. You've been working with the agency partners to set up automated spend tracking and forecasting reports, and now it's time to put those systems to the test. You review the latest figures, identifying any discrepancies or potential issues, and prepare a clear, data-driven presentation for the regional leadership. In the afternoon, you connect with your counterparts in the international and global media teams to benchmark the tools and capabilities they're using. You've heard about some innovative solutions that could bring new efficiencies to LATCANZ, and you're eager to explore how to best implement them in your region. Efficiency and innovation are always top of mind. As the day winds down, you reflect on the progress made – standardized processes, controlled spend, and new capabilities on the horizon. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related experience. - 7+ years of experience in media operations, preferably in a regional or global role, with strong understanding of media planning, buying, and trafficking processes. - Deep understanding of programmatic advertising, digital media platforms, and emerging technologies. - Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external teams. - Demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications - Advanced degree (e.g., Master's in Business Administration, Master's in Media Management) preferred. - Familiarity with the Prime Video business and the LATCANZ media landscape. - Fluency in English, with proficiency/ Native in additional languages (Spanish, Portuguese). - Experience with media and ad tech tool evaluation, implementation, and governance. - Track record of driving process improvements and introducing innovative solutions. - Ability to benchmark capabilities and best practices with international and global teams. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
