Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Specialist, Paid Media to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is integral to the success of our local media strategies and will focus on the planning, buying, and execution of paid media campaigns across various channels, including local broadcast media, digital platforms, and out-of-home (OOH). The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably working at a media agency, with a strong understanding of local spot TV, DRTV, terrestrial radio, streaming audio, and OOH media. This role will report directly to the Director, Local Media.

The Specialist, Paid Media, will be responsible for managing multiple projects and deadlines while ensuring the seamless integration of media campaigns across channels. The ability to analyze media performance and optimize campaigns for maximum impact is essential. Experience in cross-channel video advertising and inventory management is a plus.
 

Responsibilities

Media Planning & Buying

Plan, negotiate, and execute media buys for local spot TV, DRTV, terrestrial radio, streaming audio, and OOH. Collaborate with the Director, Local Media, to develop media strategies that align with business objectives. Leverage market insights and audience data to inform planning and optimize media investments.

Campaign Management

Manage the end-to-end execution of local media campaigns, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budgets. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of campaigns. Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations for optimization.

Cross-Channel Integration

Partner with the broader marketing team to ensure media strategies align across channels and touchpoints. Support cross-channel video advertising efforts, including planning, inventory management, and performance tracking. Stay updated on trends in video advertising and new inventory opportunities.

Project & Deadline Management

Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables meet deadlines. Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide updates.

Analytics & Reporting

Analyze campaign performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and ROI. Generate detailed reports to share insights and performance updates with the Director, Local Media, and key stakeholders. Utilize data to refine and improve future media strategies.
  Qualifications

Experience:

2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a media agency environment; Previous experience in a Media Operations role is preferred.

Expertise:

Proficiency in billing, invoicing and reconciliation of key media types to include but not limited to -- local spot TV, DRTV, terrestrial radio, digital media, print and OOH

Technical Skills:

Familiarity with media planning tools and platforms; strong analytical and reporting skills

Preferred Experience:

Knowledge of cross-channel video advertising, inventory management, and performance optimization.

Project Management:

Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.

Communication:

Strong verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative approach.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $64,260.00 - $105,570.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
